How We Build Resilient Minds
The Mind pillar brings together movement, mindfulness, and character so kids can thrive in and beyond the classroom. Each day includes a Movement Intensive block—yoga and mindfulness on some days, self-defense and anti-bullying skills on others—so campers learn to regulate their energy, protect their bodies, and stand up for themselves and others with confidence and respect. These sessions are intentionally designed to build focus, resilience, and awareness, not just physical skills.
Throughout the day, we reinforce a growth mindset: campers reflect during Morning Huddle and end the day in a "Success Circle," sharing what they learned and how they handled challenges. Our counselors model positive language, problem-solving, and inclusion, helping children practice empathy, teamwork, and leadership in real situations—from group games to resolving disagreements on the playground. By weaving mindset into every block, we help kids leave camp not only a little stronger and calmer, but also more courageous, kinder, and ready to take on new challenges at school and at home.
