SkillSprout America is a first-of-its-kind premium enrichment day camp built around the 3M Frameworkβ„’ β€” Mathematics, Money, and Mind. We combine Olympiad-style math challenges, real-world financial literacy, and mindfulness/growth mindset practices in a structured, high-energy indoor environment. We are hiring three distinct roles this summer β€” from no-experience-needed to full-time lead β€” each with clear responsibilities, fair pay, and real professional growth.

Junior Counselor
$15 /hr
Part-Time · 20–32 hrs/wk · W-2
Age 16+ Training Provided Flexible Hours
  • High school students & college freshmen/sophomores
  • Anyone who loves kids but has no formal camp experience
  • Future teachers, coaches & child development majors
  • Support a Lead Counselor supervising 8–10 campers
  • Assist with daily 3M Frameworkβ„’ enrichment activities
  • Help with check-in/out, meals & activity setup
  • Build genuine relationships with each camper
  • Age 16+; warm, patient personality β€” most important
  • MA CORI/SORI background check (we guide you)

Camp Counselor

  • Those with informal childcare exp. (babysitting, etc.)
  • Directly supervise 8–10 campers (1:10 ratio per MA law)
  • Lead and assist daily 3M Frameworkβ„’ enrichment sessions
  • Communicate with families daily via Brightwheel app
  • Manage check-in/out, meals, safety & emergency response
  • Age 16+ (21+ preferred for primary supervision duties)
  • Some experience working with children preferred
  • MA CORI/SORI check; health statement required
  • First Aid/CPR cert or willingness to obtain (covered)
Senior Level · 2+ Years Experience Required
Lead Counselor
$20–25 /hr
Full-Time · 40 hrs/wk · W-2
Age 21+ Required Full-Time 40 hrs Paid Training
  • College juniors/seniors or graduates in education/child dev.
  • Experienced counselors, teachers-in-training, youth coaches
  • Youth program professionals seeking a leadership role
  • Hold primary supervisory accountability for your group
  • Lead (not just support) all 3M Frameworkβ„’ daily sessions
  • Mentor and manage 1–2 junior counselors on your team
  • Serve as acting Camp Director in brief Director absences
  • Age 21+; 2+ years documented experience with children
  • Current First Aid/CPR cert required (covered if needed)
  • MA CORI/SORI check; health statement required
  • Full season commitment July 6 – Aug 21 + June training

This camp operates under MA DPH regulations and is licensed by the local board of health. All staff must complete MA CORI & SORI background checks and submit a health statement from a licensed healthcare provider before their first day. Staff ages 16–20 serve in a support role only and may not serve as the sole supervising adult for any group at any time. At least one First Aid/CPR-certified staff member must be on-site at all times. All staff must sign the Staff IP Assignment & Confidentiality Agreement prior to start.
